Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Cassis ("we", "us", "our") and our website, application, and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Your account

You need an account to use the Service. Keep your password safe — you're responsible for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age in your country if it's higher. Give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current.

Payments

Some plans are paid. Current prices are on our pricing page and may change over time, but a change never applies retroactively to a period you've already paid for. Billing is handled by Stripe, in advance, monthly or annually.

Cancel anytime from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the billing period, and fees already paid aren't refundable unless the law says otherwise.

If a payment fails, we'll try again and email you. If it keeps failing, we may downgrade or suspend your account.

Your content

Everything you create or upload stays yours. We claim no rights to it, we don't sell it, and we don't use it to train AI models. We access it only to run the Service — to store it, display it back to you, and share it with the people you choose.

You're responsible for what you put in. Don't upload anything illegal, harmful, or that infringes someone else's rights.

Acceptable use

Don't break the law or violate anyone's rights. Don't upload malware or try to breach our systems. Don't spam or harass other users. Don't scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the Service. Don't resell or sublicense it without our permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, usually after a warning — immediately if the abuse is serious.

Availability

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we can't promise it's always available. We may take it down for maintenance or updates, and parts of it depend on third parties we don't control.

Termination

Close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close it if you break these terms or stop paying. Either way, we keep your data for 30 days so you can recover or export it, then delete it permanently.

Liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any amount beyond what you've paid us in the last 12 months. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits — where that's the case, your local law applies.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new version.
